NEW YORK STATE ATHLETIC ADMINISTRATORS ASSOCIATION's Chapter 5

A member of the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association

The New York State Athletic Administrators Association, Inc. was established in 1981 for the purpose of providing secondary school athletic administrators with an organization that would be a resource for professional growth, program ideas and leadership opportunities.

On June 15, 1984 Dave Martens called an organizational meeting at the Holiday Inn in Geneseo for the purpose of starting
Chapter 5 of the New York State Athletic Administrators Association .
The following were in attendance: Ralph Dewey, Mike Foster, Bill Guerrera, Judi Knight, Larry Perkins, Nancy Viola.
The following positions were filled: President - Bill Guerrera; President Elect - Larry Perkins; Secretary - Nancy Viola;
Treasurer - Ralph Dewey; Awards - Judi Knight and Resolutions - Mike Foster.
The following League Representatives were identified: City Catholic/Private Parochial - Larry Perkins;
Wayne - Hank Burdick/Rod Verkey; Finger Lakes - Mike Foster; Livingston - Ted Bondi; Allegany - Ron Sweeney;
Steuben - Baker/Lyman Shields; Genesee Region - Chuck Brenner; Monroe - Dick Cerone/Shirley Bowen.
